The ladies and gentlemen in these positions are members of ISM and ISM—Central Indiana members and serve the Central Indiana membership as volunteers. They have accepted the responsibility of helping the association to provide our membership with the best professional development activities available through seminars, speaker meetings and fun interactive events.

As stewards of this not-for-profit organization, they have also accepted the responsibility of ensuring the organization's fiscal health and work hard to maintain financial stability. At the same time, it is the board's goal to keep the cost of all activities as low as possible to ensure maximum member participation and value.

Danielle Salyers, CPSM

President

With more than 15 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, Danielle Salyers has focused her career on delivering results through consistent leadership and communication. She has successfully translated business strategy and objectives into global sourcing strategies, aligning goals, plans and tactics to drive improved business performance and profitable growth.

Since joining Allied Solutions in March 2021, Danielle has conceptualized and initiated the company’s strategic sourcing function. She has developed and implemented sourcing processes and technology to deliver efficiencies, standardization, and risk mitigation across the organization.

Prior to Allied Solutions, Danielle was employed for 18 years at KAR Global and its auto-auction subsidiary ADESA, serving multiple roles and culminating with responsibility for leading a team in enterprise optimization and managing complex and business-critical supplier relationships and business initiatives.

Danielle has achieved the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification from the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) and serves as President of the ISM Central Indiana chapter. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and an MBA from Ball State University. She is also a graduate of the Bloombase Advanced Women Leaders program.

Jeff Miller C.P.M., CPSM is a versatile, high-performance professional with over 25 years of exceptional contributions in facility and corporate procurement. He is a self-motivated purchasing leader who consistently builds cross-functional teams and surpasses expectations; significant history of identifying and seizing opportunities to streamline and improve bottom line.   

Jeff has responsibility for commercial, financial, and operational performance within the overall categories of Indirect Corporate Spend (>$300M), which includes Human Resources, IT, Finance, Travel, Treasury, Marketing, Legal, Professional Services and Facilities Management.  Jeff has global ownership of leading the strategic sourcing process including cross-functional team formation, research, evaluation, and sourcing structure. This includes engaging key internal stakeholders from the C-Suite and across global divisions, category profiling, bench-marking services, RFx development, quotation reviews, supplier/contract negotiations, and supplier development. 

Jeff leads sourcing meetings with the appropriate Corporate Departments and business unites globally as necessary based on the indirect services category.  He must adapt each strategy to a variety of purchasing concepts, practices, and procedures.  This means developing communication skills, problem solving skills, identifying contract administration with a track record of minimizing costs and while focusing on improving quality, cost, and delivery. Jeff has been successful at identifying savings of 3-30% dependent upon contract maturity and category management.

Additionally, Jeff has been involved in developing training plans for the Procurement team, individual development plans, developing department process, reviewing and rewriting policy, as well as teaching strategic sourcing process.  These activities have been completed to raise the level of professionalism within the department, improve visibility and impact of procurement within the company, and create a repeatable, defendable process.

Locally Jeff volunteers at the Cathedral Kitchen, the Boulevard Street Food Pantry, Little 500 Bike Race, 500 Festival, Saint Thomas Aquinas Sausage Festival, Circle City Curling Club and has previously held several roles on the Board of the ISM Central Indiana.  Jeff is a member of the ISM Services Group and is a core volunteer for the Annual ISM Conference.  He completed 10 years as a member of the Monmouth College Alumni Board holding the roles of Vice President and President.  Previously he served on the Board of the Circle City Curling Club.
